George Seimer

George Bruce Seimer age 88, passed away at his residence on May 22, 2026. He was born to Omer Brady Seimer and Edith Marie Dumm Seimer on October 21, 1937. George was preceded in death his parents along with siblings Jean Seimer Bach, James (Jim) Seimer, Irene Seimer Wilson, Mary Seimer Anderson, Richard (Dick) Seimer and Frank Seimer. George graduated from Circleville High School Class of 1955. George was a sales representative for Mid State Bolt and Nut Company of Columbus, Ohio, Southern Screw, Statesville, North Carolina followed by Midwest Fabricating (Amanda Bent Bolt) in Amanda, Ohio among other manufacturers until his retirement. George’s passion was his family first, and farming, raising both crops and livestock. He married Wanda Fetherolf on April 26, 1958, celebrating 68 years of marriage. Surviving along with Wanda are Bruce (Tawn) Seimer, Leah (Todd) Bohrer, and Charles Brian (Jennifer) Seimer. Grandchildren include Amanda Seimer and Ethan (Alexa) Seimer, Megan Bohrer Brown, Thomas (Megan) Bohrer and Sam Seimer. George and Wanda’s great grandchildren are Bowen Bohrer and Kolter Bohrer. George is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services are on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11-1.
