George "Bob" Dumm

George Robert “Bob” Dumm, 80, of Circleville formerly of Laurelville went to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family on June 20, 2026. Bob was born on March 22, 1946 in Chillicothe to Winfred and Grace (West) Dumm. Bob, a Navy veteran, was a self-employed barber who loved the Lord, loved his family and travel. He loved his grandchildren, which was his world and loved going to all their activities. He met the love of his life at Dumm’s Store in Laurelville. Bob graduated from Laurelville High School, was an Able Seaman on the USS Allegheny, member of Laurelville Church of God and a member of Kingston Loge 624 F&A&M. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother James Dumm. Bob is survived by his wife Deborah Jane (Stinard) Dumm; children George Nelson (Paula) Dumm, Bobbie Jo (Boomer) Dietzel, Elijah Jennings (Paula) Dumm; grandchildren Spencer Ray (Hayli) Burton, Tanner Paul (Brooke) Dumm, Olivia Jane Dumm, Waylon Robert Dietzel, Emory Lucas Dumm, Charles Nelson Dietzel and Luke Augusta Dietzel; great grandchildren Sophia, Skylar, Crue, Noah and Zoey; sister Martha (Kenny) Temple, sister-in-law Shirley Dumm; several nieces and nephews and by beloved dog LuLu. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with burial to follow in Green Summit Cemetery.
