Gary Caldwell

It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the loss of Gary V. Caldwell. Gary passed away in the early hours of May 28, 2025, at the age of 77 in Washington Court House, Ohio. Gary was born October 3, 1947 in Sultan, Washington to the late George and Eleanor Caldwell.

Throughout his adult life, living in the Mt. Sterling, Ohio vicinity, Gary had worked for the Versa Corporation and for Porter Drywall in Westerville, Ohio before starting his own business doing drywall, painting and home renovations. Gary was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes!

Gary was predeceased by one brother; Bruce and four sisters; Bonnie, Leatha, Evelyn and Vivian. He is survived by one son, Gary (Nancy) of Circleville, Ohio and by three daughters, Lisa (Dave) of Salenville, Ohio; Stephanie (Tim) of Williamsport, Ohio and Kathryn of Cadiz, Ohio, ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two sisters; Carol and Barb, two brothers; Joe and Bill, many nieces, nephews, friends and his dog.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Court House Manor for the compassionate care and support of Gary.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held 5pm – 7pm, Tuesday June 3, 2025 at the Wellman Funeral Home 1455 North Court St. Circleville Ohio 43113.
