Fredric Brooks

Fredric Brooks, 88, of Ashville passed away on October 3, 2025. He was born on April 29, 1937 in Chillicothe to Harold and Evelyn (Brooks) Stanton. Fred and Marlene attended many churches over the years mainly Emmett Chapel UMC and First Church of God on Kingston Pike. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings James and Larry Davis and Jeannie Lawson and Ruth and Harold Brooks. Fredric an Army veteran is survived by his wife Marlene (Stevenson) Brooks; children Todd Alan Brooks and Mari Marie Brooks; grandchildren Evan Neil Brooks, Ethan Todd Brooks, Abigail Rose Markley, Jenna Renee Pena and Ella and Khloe Morrison and by siblings Deloris Perkins and Margaret Abel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Church of God with Pastor Wayne Green officiating. Burial will follow in Heavenly Hills Cemetery.
