It is with deep love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived that we remember a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, missionary, and faithful servant of the Lord. Faye passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 15, 2026 surrounded by her family.

Born on September 2, 1937 to John and Virginia (Latimer) Glauner and raised in Springfield Ohio, she carried her Midwestern warmth and steady kindness throughout her life. She later moved to Circleville to attend Ohio Christian University, formerly known as Circleville Bible College, where she deepened both her faith and her commitment to serving others.

For 28 years, she devoted herself to shaping young minds as a first-grade teacher. Her classroom was a place of encouragement, structure, and compassion. She had a special gift for helping children feel seen, valued, and capable, leaving a lasting impression on generations of students and families. Teaching was more than a profession to her; it was a calling.

Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. A devoted member of Crossroads Christian Church, she served faithfully in numerous roles over the years. She was a Sunday School teacher, a leader in the Senior Citizen Ministry, and served as Missionary President, helping guide and support outreach efforts near and far. She faithfully supported both local and global missions and participated in mission trips to Honduras, the Texas/Mexican border, and multiple sites throughout the United States. One of her greatest joys was fulfilling her dream of traveling to Africa as part of a mission team—an experience that reflected her servant’s heart and her desire to share Christ’s love wherever she was called.

Above all, she cherished her family. She shared nearly 50 beautiful years of marriage with the love of her life, Ned Schriener. Their marriage was a testimony of devotion, partnership, and enduring love. She was a loving and steadfast wife, a nurturing and dedicated mother, and a proud, adoring grandmother. Her grandchildren brought her immeasurable joy, and she delighted in celebrating their milestones and surrounding them with encouragement, wisdom, and affection. She is also survived by her children Susan Happeney, Jeff (Jill Justice) Mullet, Jill (Nick) Esber, daughter-in-law Sheba Mullet; grandchildren Maria (Robbie) Downey, Lexy (Luke) Bowman, Cassidy (Paul) Dickey, Gracie Mullet, Allison (John) Posin, Lainie (Jeremiah) Freedlund, Nicole (Zack) Bergman, Nicholas J. Esber II; great grandchildren Mason, Layla, Parker, Max, Faye; siblings David (Carolyn) Glauner, Michael Glauner, Robert Glauner (Harlan Wilder). She was preceded in death by her parents John and Virginia (Latimer) Glauner; sister Geraldine Day; brother Daniel Glauner and by sisters-in-law Dottie Glauner, Crystal Glauner and brother-in-law James Day.

She was also known among family and friends as a master baker. Her kitchen was often filled with warmth and the irresistible aroma of freshly baked pies—her specialty. Those pies, made with care and shared generously, became a symbol of her hospitality and love. Gatherings were sweeter because she was there.

Her legacy lives on in the faith she modeled, the students she inspired, the lives she touched through missions and ministry, and the family she treasured so deeply. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering devotion, servant’s heart, and the sweetness she brought into the lives of all who knew her. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5-7 p.m.
