Evelyn M. Pellum March 7, 1941 – January 20, 2026 Evelyn M. Pellum, 84, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early hours of January 20, 2026. Born on March 7, 1941, Evelyn lived a life marked by laughter & adventure. She was married to her beloved husband, George C. Pellum, for 57 years. Together, they built a life centered on love, laughter, and strong family values that continue through their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband George, parents, Josephine and George Dudeck; her brothers, Lawrence and John; and her sister, Virginia. She is survived by her brother, George Dudeck and his wife Helen; her sister, Ruth; her sons, Stephen Pellum and William Pellum and his wife Jane; her grandchildren, Natalie Hutchinson and her husband Triston, Brooke Posas and her husband Eleazar, Logan Pellum and his wife Josalyn, and Olivia Pellum; her great-granddaughter, Hazel Hutchinson; and her great-grandson, Hutchinson, expected in April. Evelyn was known for her great sense of humor, love of fishing and travel, and her contagious laughter. Her life leaves a lasting legacy in the family she cherished and the values she passed on. She will be remembered with deep respect, gratitude, and affection by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 at noon at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Galloway Cemetery. Visitation is on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at noon.
