Emma Flournoy

Emma Flournoy, 24, of Adelphi, Ohio, passed away July 15th, 2025, after a sudden and unexpected illness. She was born on January 11th, 2001, in Lufkin, Texas to Joshua and Julie Flournoy, formerly residents of Laurelville, Ohio.

Emma is survived by her parents, her sisters Elizabeth Cochran, Kate Lamb, Caroline, Jane, Samantha, Abigail, and Amelia; her brothers William, Douglas, Morgan, Christopher, and Michael; her brothers-in-law Matthew Cochran and Daeus Lamb; her nieces Grace, Esther, and Willow, and her nephew Elijah.

Emma had a passion for many things: classical music, playing the piano and violin, reading, period dramas, history, grammar, nature (especially trees and viny things), and spending quality time with all her family members. Her greatest passion was her love for Jesus Christ and letting her life bring honor to Him.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Crossroads Church in Circleville, Ohio with Pastor Tom Bastress officiating, visitation will be held on Friday from 4- 7 p.m. at the church.
