Emery Grewell

Emery J. Grewell, 59, of Circleville, Ohio, passed away on May 2, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Verna Leja Grewell. Emery is survived by his loving wife Cindy Williard Grewell; sisters Debbie (Mike) Perry, Michelle (John) Slack and Marie (Bob) Cua; extended Williard family, Dale and Pat Williard, Chris and Katherine Williard, Mike and Becky Williard, Andy and Brittany Williard; many nieces and nephews: Nathan and Chris Perry, Jacob, Jonah and Ava Slack, Matthew McNichols, Caidy Bravo, Joey Cremeans, Aly, Taner, Lillah, Wade, Sierra and Brayden Williard. Along with special friends Tim Copper and Nancy Shollenberger, and Emery and Cindy’s two dogs Matilda and Edger. Emery graduated from Circleville High School and the Pickaway-Ross Joint Vocational School in 1984. He worked as an EMT for the Circleville squad, volunteered for the Pickaway Dems, was a member of the Circleville Garden Club, and had worked as a general manager for Donatos Pizza before retiring. Emery and Cindy enjoyed attending concerts like Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac, Heart, Journey and more. He hardly ever missed the Circleville Pumpkin Show and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Browns fan. He had a passion for cooking, creating family recipe books, loved wood working in his shop, crafting and was a proud pet parent. Emery was a wonderful, caring individual who loved his family, friends and community and life’s simple pleasures. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 4pm-7pm and funeral services on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 11:00am, both at Wellman’s Funeral Home in Circleville, Ohio. There will be no graveside services.
