Elizabeth Kathryn “Kathy” Huskey May 26, 1964 – March 26, 2026

Elizabeth Kathryn “Kathy” Huskey, age 61, left us to be with our Lord on March 26, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with Stage 4 COPD and its complications.

Born on May 26, 1964, in Columbus, Ohio, Kathy was a woman whose warmth, creativity, and love for her family defined her life. Kathy’s greatest passion was her children and grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and happiness. She was preceded in death by her father, David Harden; her mother, Marie Browning; her oldest brother, David Harden II; her great-nephew, Drace Johnson; as well as her previous husband Steve Huskey. Kathy loved her fur babies who also preceded her, Sam, Tasha, and Winston.

Kathy is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Tiffany (Chad) Conkle, and her cherished grandchildren, Isla (5) and Briggs (1); her son, Nick (Bailee) Huskey, her beloved grandson, Tucker (9 months); and her loving partner of 16 years, Jason Coe. She is also survived by her siblings, Ellen Harden, E.J. Harden, Patty Walton, and Clifford Browning II; and by her nieces and nephews: David (Lyndsey) Harden III, Shane Shockey, Jeremy Harden, Destiny (Josh) Swartzel, Christian Welsh, Heather Johnson, Derek Johnson, Clifford Browning III, and Tessie (Josh) Roberts, along with many great-nieces and great-nephews who will continue to carry her memory forward.

She is both preceded by and survived by “chosen” family: her close friends both new and lifelong, who she loved and cherished deeply.

Family and friends are invited to honor Kathy’s life at Wellman’s Funeral Home in Circleville, Ohio. Visitation will be Thursday from Noon to 2:00 p.m., followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will take place afterward at Wolfe Cemetery in Haydenville, Ohio.

Kathy is remembered for her gentle spirit, her kind heart, and the way she made everyone feel loved. She was a graduate of Teays Valley High School in Ashville, Ohio. Then she had long careers at Border’s and DuPont in Circleville, Ohio. She enjoyed painting, listening to her favorite 80’s musicians (Eddie Money and Bret Michaels), cooking, and never missed an opportunity to go shopping for clothes…lots and lots of clothes. Her warmth touched all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
