Elizabeth Arledge

Elizabeth (Liz Tomlinson) Arledge, 83, of Circleville passed away on April 6, 2026. She was born on October 11, 1942 in Circleville to Charles and Evelyn (Taylor) Tomlinson Sr. Liz found purpose in caring for those she loved and building a home filled with warmth. Her home was always open, with countless memories formed at her kitchen table or counter, where she offered advice, shared stories, and never failed to serve cookies. She was a dedicated partner to her husband, Harold, assisting in the management of their businesses, including Royal Car Wash, The Arledge Music Company and The Launderette; he preceded her in death.

She spent her final days doing her favorite things, which included celebrating Easter with family and tending to her yard and garden, in which she took great pride. She passed away one day before her wedding anniversary, reuniting with her beloved husband, Harold, on the eve of their 64th anniversary.

She is preceded in death by her parents and by siblings Chuck Tomlinson Jr., Edward Tomlinson, Mick Tomlinson and Jean Eldridge. She is survived by her children Ryan Arledge and fiancé Dani Wiersma, Lisa Arledge and fiancé Andrae Millner; grandchildren Grant Powell, Kylie Trimble, Cheryl Gilbert, Lauren Arledge; and great-grandson Ethan Mitro. Liz was a “2nd mom” to many friends and family members, including Karen (Eldridge) Francis, her niece.

Graveside services will be held at noon on Saturday, April 11 at Forest Cemetery in Circleville. Friends may call during a Celebration of Life on April 11 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. upstairs at the Zwicker House, 115 E. Main Street, Circleville.
