Dorothy Hewitt

Dorothy Hewitt, 94, of Circleville passed away on May 22, 2025. She was born on July 2, 1930 in Portsmouth to Howard and Margaret (Hartshorn) Crull. Dorothy was a member of Community United Methodist Church, sang in the church choir, was a Red Cross and Berger Hospital Volunteer and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Hewitt Jr. and brother Howard Marlin Crull. Dorothy is survived by her sons Greg and Doug (Dawn) Hewitt and grandchildren Sam, Alexa and Aliese and by nephews Bob Crull and Tim Crull and niece Becky Canter. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 10-12 at the Wellman Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow in Memorial Park, Wheelersburg, Ohio.
