In loving memory of Donald Eugene Davis. Donald Eugene Davis age 76, of Circleville, Ohio passed away on May 16, 2026, at 6:54 p.m. Donald lived a life defined by love for his family, loyalty to his friends, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. While his presence here will be greatly missed, his family finds comfort in knowing he has gone home to be with the Lord and is now at peace. On November 5, 1973, Donald married the love of his life, Sandra (Gray) Davis. For more than 52 years, they shared a life filled with devotion, laughter, hard work, and cherished memories. Together, they built a family that was the center of Donald’s world. Donald was a proud and loving father to Dawn (Gary) Vincent, Donald Davis II, Wayne (Lisa) Gray, James (Carrie) Gray, Sheila (Danny) Downs and Monica Davis. He was a devoted grandfather and great grandfather to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immeasurable joy. Whether teaching them skills or simply spending time together, Donald treasured every moment with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Mable (Napp) Davis and Pearl Davis, whom he now joins. He also has fourteen siblings. Donald valued friendship deeply and maintained lifelong bonds with Bryan Sowers and D.J. Sowers, Logan “Peewee” Payne, John Hayes, and Chuck Vanhorn. Many of these friendships were forged and strengthened through long days spent outdoors, sharing stories, laughter and a mutual love of nature. An avid outdoorsman, Donald found peace and happiness in the fields, woods, and waters. He loved trap shooting, hunting, and fishing, and had a special passion for training and racing homing pigeons. These interests were never solitary pursuits-he took great pride in sharing them with family and friends, passing along his knowledge, patience, and appreciation for the outdoors. Donald will be remembered for his steady presence, generous heart, and the lasting memories he created through time spent outdoors with those he loved. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at noon at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery.
