Debra Martin

Debra Elaine Martin (nee McKenzie), 73, of Circleville, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026. Although she was born in Circleville, she spent many years calling Chillicothe home. She is lovingly survived by her niece Erin (Ethan) Knisley, two great nieces, and their families. Debra was predeceased by her parents, Chet and Juanita McKenzie, her sister Kay O’Conner, and her husband Jerry Martin. Debra retired from DuPont after 20 years of service. Her hobbies included toll painting, which she taught for several years, playing the harp, and cooking. She loved fast cars and driving her Corvette. Debra was a woman of deep Christian faith, she found comfort knowing she would one day be reunited with her loved ones in Heaven. A small, intimate family memorial service was held at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville followed by burial in Forest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Parkinson’s Foundation. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at the Wyngate of Circleville for their kindness and support during her time there. The family is also grateful to National Church Residency Hospice for their compassionate support of Deb during her transition. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
