Daniel Markel

Daniel Markel, 59, of Adelphi passed away on September 19, 2018.  He was born on August 24, 1959 in Chillicothe to William and Sarah (Derexson) Markel.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother Carl William.  Daniel is survived by his wife Elaine (Hill) Markel, daughter Nicole (Matt) Estep, stepchildren Gregory (Kim) Shanton, Danielle (Michael Dilley) Shanton, grandchildren Caushen and Cohen Shanton and Olivia Dilley, sister Barb (Morris) Fetherolf, nephew Andrew (Shannon) Robinson, great nephews Carter, Nalin and Landon, special cousins John Derexson and Keith Liptak, and by special friends Larry Street, Steve Fouch, Ronnie Van Fossen, Freddie Mahoney, Mel Bower and Ralph Satterfield.  A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Alibis Bar & Grill, Adelphi, Ohio.  Wellman Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.   Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
