Daniel Carruthers

Daniel Carruthers, 79, of Peebles passed away on October 2, 2026. He was born on July 24, 1947 in Columbus to James and Margie (Hawley) Carruthers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Nancy Cupp. He was an Air Force veteran and a member of Highland Amateur Radio Association and VFW. Daniel is survived by his wife Shirley (Mattox) Workman; children Brian (Janice) Carruthers, Tina Penney, Heather (Rusty) Ungeheuer, Joesie Carruthers; stepchildren Willis (Sherry) and Randy (Robin) Stewart; many grand and great grandchildren and by bothers James and Bruce Carruthers and sister Debbie Price.
