Corvin Winland

Corvin C. "Bub" Winland, 86, of Laurelville, died September 14, 2007 at his residence. He was born March 22, 1921, in Hocking County, the son of Creighton and Susie (Kuhn) Winland. He was a former Perry Twp. Trustee. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mildred Stalder; brother, Darley "Jake" Winland; step brothers, Charley, Wayne, Marvin and Roy Winland and Loren Fogler. He is survived by his wife, Alice (Smailes) Winland; children, Darryl (Angie) Winland of Laurelville, Cheryl (Eric) Pyle of Lancaster, Todd (Paulette) Winland and Corvin "Corry" (Sonya) Winland, Jr. all of Laurelville; grandchildren, Smantha, Stephanie, Darryl "Shane", Mandy and Jake; brothers, Paul Winland of Lancaster, H.E. and Dick Winland of Laurelville and sister, Eva Horn of Laurelville. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday September 17, 2007 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville. Burial will be in Tarlton Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
