Christina Rainey 77, of Ashville died on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. She was born in Point Pleasant, WV on March 13, 1937 to Robert and Kathleen (Kearns) Rainey Sr. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings, Robert Jr. and Harry Rainey and Chester Dye. Christina is survived by brother, Sam Rainey, sisters, Reba Mosley, Josephine Rainey, Martha (Ted) Riffle, Jenny (Mike) Bixler, special friend, Nicki Bowman and by several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Harrison Township Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Wellman Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
