Chelsea Shea (Hall) Davy, RN, 36 years old of Circleville, OH passed away suddenly on July 12th, 2025. Chelsea was born on September 24th, 1988 in Columbus, Ohio to Scott Hall and Erin (Hardin) Vanover. She was a proud and loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend, and nurse. Chelsea lived life to the fullest and always made it a priority to capture the moment. Her contagious laugh and spitfire attitude will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Marian Hardin; maternal grandfather, Charlie Hardin; and paternal grandfather, Gene Hall. Left to cherish her memory is her son Dalton Davy; daughter Madelyn Davy; mother Erin (Brock) Vanover; father Scott Hall; paternal grandmother Sharelle Hall; sister Madison Seimer (Rodney Lucas); stepbrothers Andrew Vanover and Blake Vanover; uncles Kent (Susanne) Hardin and Jeff Hardin; aunt Shelly (Ty) Caudill; cousins, extended family, dear friends, and beloved pet “Lucky.” Chelsea’s primary focus in life was being the best mother that she could be, and despite giving her all to that endeavor, she still managed to pursue her dream job of becoming an RN. She graduated from Logan Elm High School in 2007 and Chamberlin College of Nursing in 2014. Aside from her joy of nursing and her children, Chelsea loved all animals. She would often refer to herself as, “The Crazy Cat Lady of Laurelville.” Chelsea was a devoted mother to her children, Dalton and Madelyn, her pride and joy. She always said their births changed her life for the better, and they felt that in the love and support she provided. She went above and beyond for her children. Chelsea will always be remembered for her consistent presence and support at her children’s games and events. You could count on one hand how many games Chelsea had missed. Whether the game was ten minutes away or two hours away, Chelsea would always be there… She may be late, but she would be there in “Chelsea time!”
The family will be having a private service. Arrangements for memorial donations are pending. The family will post arrangements on Facebook at a later date. Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
A Mother’s Unbreakable Bond
Through trials and storms, her strength did reside, A beacon of hope, a comforting guide. In laughter and tears, our lives intertwined, A bond everlasting, in heart and in mind.
When shadows encroach and the nights feel so long, Her love is the anthem, a comforting song. No distance can sever the ties that we weave, A mother’s sweet love is a treasure to leave.
