Charlotte Mason

Charlotte Kay Mason, 88, of Grove City, Ohio passed away on March 20, 2026 at Pickaway Manor Care facility, Circleville, Ohio. She was born on February 21, 1938, daughter of the late Frances and Chester Burress, Sidney, Ohio. She married the love of her life Danny E. Mason on December 19, 1963, he preceded her in death on June 8, 1985. She is survived by her son Ryan E. Mason and wife Beckie Mason of Circleville, Ohio. Grandmother to Danny Mason (Sara) of Frankfort, Ohio, Ashley Rothwell (Clayton) of Grove City, Kara Creed (Josh) of Circleville, Jessica Vandemark (Alex) of Chillicothe, Caleb Creed (Kayla) of Canal Winchester; great grandmother to Holly, Emma, Gavin, Charlie, Halle, Heidi, Kendall and Andrew. Charlotte retired on December 9, 2025 at the young age of 87 after 37 years of service with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department. She was loved by her fellow workers not only as an employee but also as a friend. Charlotte was a bright light in the many lives she touched with her sense of style, love for shopping with her longtime friend Jan and spending time with her family. Her smile surely was contagious, as she never knew a stranger. She will be sadly missed. Her family would like to thank all of her caregivers and therapy team at Pickaway Manor and Heartland Hospice for the love you showed Charlotte and her family during her stay. You all are greatly appreciated. Thank you. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Concord Cemetery.
