**Obituary for Charles Anthony Seymour**

Charles Anthony Seymour, of Laurelville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on December 31, 2024, surrounded by his beloved family after a brief illness. He was born on June 4, 1962, in Ross County, to the late Donald and Carol (Maddy) Seymour.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brothers, Donnie Seymour and Kenneth Self, and his sister, Carolyn White. He was also preceded by his mother and father-in-law, Henrietta and Virgil Phillips.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Tonya Seymour; his son, Kyle (Tina) Seymour; his daughter, Kayla (Matt) Elliott; and his special niece, Ashley (Skyler) Schipper. Charlie’s legacy continues through his grandchildren: Cameron, Logan, Payton, Grayson, Mattie, Makaila, Chris, Liam, Dixie, and Kimber. Additional survivors include his stepmother, Geraldine Seymour; his sisters, Marian (Dirck) Everhart and Cindy Self; and brothers-in-law Ronnie (Tracy) Phillips and Doug Phillips.

Charlie dedicated 30 years of service to Laborers Local 423 before his retirement. He embraced life on his own terms and found joy in fishing, mushroom hunting, and cherishing moments with his grandchildren.
