Charles Reid

Charles Albert Reid of South Bloomingville passed away on April 26, 2025 at OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 82. He was born on August 19, 1942 in South Bloomingville to Walter and Virginia (Monroe) Reid. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister Martha Smith and brothers Larry Dale and Donnie Reid. Charles is survived by his wife of 59 years Betty (Tatman) Reid; son Charles Michael Reid and by brothers Cecil, Carl and Harry Reid. He was a Cement Mason for 30 years, a member of Laborers Local 423 and Plasterers and Cement Masons Local 1 for 30 years. He loved to rabbit, deer and coon hunt and mushroom hunt and to play cards. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with burial to follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery, McArthur.
