Charles Dale Gifford

Charles Dale Gifford, 94, of Circleville passed away on January 12, 2026. He was born on September 24, 1931 in Hamilton, Ohio to John and Mary (Otto) Gifford. Dale was an Army Veteran, worked for Dupont and was a farmer. Dale was a member of Community United Methodist Church and Circleville Lions Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Betty (McClure) Gifford; siblings Esther Shaw, Crystal Grissom, Earl Gifford, Frank Gifford, John Gifford, Vernon Gifford, Art Gifford and Orville Gifford. Dale is survived by his children Brad D. Gifford, Craig N. (Patty) Gifford and Susan D. (Mark) Hummel; grandchildren Bryan Burnett, Tony Graham, Daniel Gifford and Shane Gifford; great grandchildren Rae Lynn, Easton, Ava, Tucker, Olivia and Sophie and by sister Lorraine DeLong. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Hitler Ludwig Cemetery. Visitation is on Saturday from 11-1. Memorial contributions are suggested to Community United Methodist Church or Heartland Hospice.
