Charles Downing Jr.

Charles Downing Jr., 75, of Circleville passed away on August 17, 2026. He was born on February 4, 1951 in Columbus to Charles and Hazel (Conley) Downing Jr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Sally (Martin) Downing, children Tony Martin and April Brady and by brother Larry E. Downing. Charles a Army Veteran was retired from R.C.A. after they closed and was a 1969 Circleville High School graduate. He loved to fish and spend time with his beloved dog Twinkles. He is survived by his daughter Tammie Downing; step children Christina Schwalbaugh and Bobbi Jo Martin; sister Connie (Gary) Walker; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; nephews Larry E. (Susan) Downing II, Gary L. (Melody) Walker II and Nathan (Billie Jo) Walker and special friend Betty Bush. A graveside service in Reber Hill will be at a later date.
