Betty Louise LeMay, 91, of Circleville, Ohio passed away at home on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. She was born August 11, 1923 in Jay County, IN to the late Perry L. and Ruby L. (McMichael) Denney. Betty was a member of Community United Methodist Church since 1969, Order of the Eastern Star #90 since 1970. She enjoyed volunteering at Berger Hospital and with the Red Cross since 1971. During WWII she was a tool and die maker at City Tool in Muncie, IN. She and her late husband, B. Byron LeMay Jr. were avid square dancers while wintering in Brownsville, TX and also taught line and ballroom dancing in Circleville. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, B. Byron LeMay III; grandson, David A. LeMay Jr.; first husband, Fred DeWitt; brothers, Perry and Herb Denney; sisters, Marceil Lane, Vera McKinley, Marjorie Clannin, and Treva Denney. Betty is survived by her loving children; Denise DeLeon, Cheryl (Rod) Driver, Renee Brissette and Tina Marie Guilfoyle, and David (Angel) LeMay; step-son, Leonard N. (Angela) LeMay, grandchildren; Angela DeLeon, Christie (Mark) Steenwyk, Emily DeLeon, Kevin (Annie) Driver, Cory (Sarah) Pechan-Driver, Kimberly (Christopher) Smith, Jessica (Jared) Conner, Ryan and Rory Brissette, Dawn Bahde and Jacob LeMay, great grandchildren; Clayton Purdun, Kade Steenwyk, Hope Smith, Cayden LeMay, Preston Hulse, Andres and Kendal Conner and by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends. Viewing will be at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. with Eastern Star Service at 4:00. Burial will be on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Beech Grove Cemetery in Muncie, IN.
