Bernard Burgess, 70, of Ashville passed away on November 29, 2023. He was born on May 18, 1953 in Madison, WV. to Elmer and Mollie (Wallen) Burgess. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Sherry (Forth) Burgess, 3 brothers and 6 sisters. Bernard is survived by his children Rebecca (Gary) Wilson and Douglas Burgess and by grandchildren Cheyenne McCreary, Gary Wilson III, Austin Wilson, Joshua Burgess and Emmitt Burgess. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Harrison Township Cemetery with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating.
