ASC Wayne L. Downing Jr., 50, of Orange Park, FLA died on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Haven Hospice Care Center, FLA. He was born on August 8, 1964 in Millington, TN to Wayne Sr. and Janet (Arledge) Downing. Wayne devoted his life for over 20 years in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents. Wayne is survived by his wife, Genevieve (Magalona) Downing, children; ViVi Jayne Downing, Ethan and Robey Magalona, sister; Rhonda (Roger) Moore of Laurelville, nephew, Justin (Rhonda) DeLong, nieces, Amy (Eric Salamaki) Moore and Emily (Brandon) Speakman, great nephew and niece, Levi DeLong and Rylee Speakman. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Pastor Ty Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Green Summit Cemetery.
