Arvel Lee Dingess, Jr., 38, of Rockbridge, died October 9, 2010 as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born August 9, 1972 in Williamson, WV, the son of Arvel Lee and Shirley May (Hampton) Dingess, Sr. He was employed with Conkle Remodeling. He is survived by his parents; children, Austin Lee, Sidney Michelle, Sean Allen and Breanna Dingess and Abby Harper; brother, Jeffrey Scott Dingess of Lancaster; sisters, Jennifer Elaine Dingess-Prather of Marion and Karen Sue Dingess-Nye of Piketon; nieces, Christian Noel Prather, Sue rianna and Isabella Nye; nephews, Joshua Adam Prather, Timothy Dingess and Zachary Jones. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday October 15, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home,Laurelville. Burial will be in Mt Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Wellman Funeral Home in Arvel’s name.
