Tony is preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Heise. He is survived by his mother, Linda Liscano Bragg, and his stepfather, James Bragg of Circleville, Ohio; sister Donna Perry of Canal Winchester, Ohio; stepbrother Jeff Heise of Amanda, Ohio; Daughters Melissa Heise of Lancaster, Ohio and Emma Rose Heise of Chillicothe, Ohio; Son Stone Young of Buckeye Lake, Ohio; grandchildren Damion Shook, Amira Harris, and Angelina Heise of Lancaster, Ohio; Stone and Emma’s mother, and a 22 year long companion, Terri Young of Mansfield, Ohio; Companion and Caregiver of 3 years, Ginger Heise of Chillicothe, Ohio; and life-long friends, Carl Speakman of Lancaster, Ohio and Dakota Speakman of Frankfort, Ohio. Tony fought a long, hard battle with lung cancer for a total of 3 years before passing in his home, surrounded by countless family and friends. Before his battle, Tony was an outstanding supervisor for plenty of crews. Known for his work of running and supervising JMO builders, and constructing new homes throughout the Buckeye Lake area for the last 20+ years, Tony showed his strengths in building and creating things his entire life, being able to construct anything from the ground up and to do so from just a picture or idea. Tony was a very talented and helpful soul. He loved to build and help others whenever he could, especially when it came to his mother, Linda, whom he would do anything in the world for. He did everything in his power to provide for those he loved. For years, he showed countless acts of strength and bravery, and always made a point of fighting for what he cared about. He is truly the reason so many of us are here today. As tough as he was, he was a friend to the world and always showed kindness to strangers or animals, whether it was making babies laugh in stores passing by, or having countless numbers of butterflies and bumblebees land on him. He was a rocker at heart and found so much joy in playing bass guitar and making music with his family and friends. He will forever be our heart of gold and the sweetheart of the family. We aim to find his light and joy in everything we continue to do in honor of Tony. He will be forever missed. Graveside services will be held at Fernwood Cemetery in Lockbourne, Ohio Tony’s celebration of life will be held at the home of Linda and Jim Bragg on November 30, Tony's birthday.
