Alvie Glenn

Alvie D. Glenn, 91, of Circleville died March 8, 2013 at his residence. He was born May 30, 1921 in Firebrick, KY, the son of the late Jesse and Pearl (Scott) Glenn. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, former P.O.W., retired from General Electric and an ordained Elder of Pilgrim Holiness Church. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Bertha (McNichols) Glenn; children, Russel (Iona) Glenn, Marcella Glenn and Ruby (Mike) Stright; 18 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Harvey (Helena) and Lonnie (Betty); sisters, Bonnie and Deloris. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday March 15, 2013 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 12:30 p.m. until the time of service on Friday.
