Winona (Tabler) Jones

Wiona was born June 29, 1945 in Hocking County, where she grew up in.  She worked for Amity Healthcare in Circleville, Ohio and Arrow Plastics.  She enjoyed her grandchildren, watching Walker Texas Ranger, and other westerns with her husband, she liked going to various churches to meet different people.  Wiona loved sitting on the porch in the summer watching traffic go by.  She fostered many neighborhood cats, always made sure they had something to eat.  She is survived by her husband Kenneth “Dick” Jones and children, Jimmy (Rene), Timmothy “Wire” Thurston (Mona), stepchildren Rick (Jane) Jones, Mike Jones, Sherry Jones (Kenny), Brenda Hart, Mark (Tammy) Jones, 6 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 3 step great grandchildren, 2 sisters Romona and Juanita (Doug) Harper, special nephew Chick Danner.  Winona loved her dogs as well.  Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Noon in Hallsville Cemetery.  Friends may call on Monday from 10-12 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville.  Special thanks to Amy Parker and her staff at Heartland Hospice and Pickaway Manor.  Wiona was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Heartland Hospice.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
