Wayne Clarence McGraw

Wayne C. McGraw, 71, of Circleville went home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2018 at his residence after a long courageous battle with cancer.  Wayne was born September 9, 1946 to the late Clyde and Minnie McGraw.  He was preceded in death by brothers Clyde Jr. McGraw, Frank McGraw, and sister Sue Graves.  He was also preceded in death by his late wife Carol (Smith) McGraw.  Wayne leaves behind his loving wife Barbara (Neff) McGraw, son Travis (Regina) McGraw of Stoutsville, step-daughter Kindra (Jason) Nye of Circleville, and step-son Ross Picklesimer of Laurelville, grandchildren Holli McGraw, Tyler McGraw, Lillian Nye, Jaden Nye and Flynn Nye.  Wayne also leaves behind sister Mary Vest of Texas, brothers John (Jane) McGraw and Carl (Vicki) McGraw both of Chillicothe and by sister Dorothy “Dottie” Mertz of South Carolina, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews along with many other family members and close friends.  Wayne retired from Yellow Freight and was a member of Teamsters Local 413 for over 30 years.  After retiring Wayne spent his time golfing and enjoying time with his grand kids and family.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Heritage Church of the Nazarene 2264 Walnut Creek Pike, Circleville.  Visitation will be on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the church.  Special thanks to Hospice of Pickaway County and niece Stephanie (Sean) Groce for continued support during this difficult time.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Hospice of Pickaway County 1170 North Court Street Circleville Ohio 43113.    Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
