Vangie Williams

Vangie Williams, 83, of Cincinnati formerly of Circleville passed away on July 11, 2018.  She was born in Wayne County, WV to Vinson and Myrtle (Wilson) Porter.  She had worked for Hecks and Walmart and treasured her grand and great grandchildren.  She loved cooking especially at Thanksgiving and making favorites for everyone especially her German Chocolate Cake.  In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband Marvin Earl Williams whom she married on January 16, 1954, he passed away on May 6, 1992, a son Patrick and by brother Elwood Porter and sisters Lucille Osborn and Maxine Stump.  Vangie is survived by her children Michael (Ruth) Williams of Indiana, Kimberly (James) Stegeman of Cincinnati, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Marilyn Williams, her special companion Pudgie and by sisters-in-law Phyllis (Jim) Sargent and Lois Sanders.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10-11 a.m.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Berger Health Foundation, 600 North Pickaway Street, Circleville, Ohio 43113.
