Rosanette (Strehle) Drum

Rosanette (Strehle) Drum, born July 24, 1920, departed this life to join her husband, Sarling and other family member on May 19, 2018.  Starling and Rosanette were married on August 7, 1940 and were blessed with 56 years together until his death in 1996.  Surviving is their daughter, Rosalind of Upper Arlington and their son Vaughn and his wife Connie of Pennsylvania. Triplet grandsons Jonathan, Michael and his wife Sue, Christopher and his wife Claudia; great grandchildren Elizabeth Marie, Matthew Logan and Lindsey Michelle Drum also survive.  Rosanette was predeceased by her parents, William and Anna (Myers) Strehle, sisters Martha Louise Strehle, Nellie Smith, Wilhelmena Drum, Edith McClelland and her brother, William “Bill” Strehle.  Nine nieces and nephews survive.   A celebration of Rosanette’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the Community United Methodist Church, Circleville.  At her request, calling hours will not be observed.  Burial will be at their chosen site in Burke Memorial Gardens in Morganton, North Carolina, near where the couple resided for a number of years.  Honoring Rosanette’s request, memorial contributions may be made to the following:  Community United Methodist Church, 120 North Pickaway Street, Circleville, Ohio 43113; Galilean Home Ministries, PO Box 880, Liberty, Kentucky 42539; Gideon International, PO Box 403, Circleville, Ohio 43113.  Rosanette’s family would like to express their deepest appreciation and thanks to the staff at Pickaway Manor Assisted Living and Heartland Hospice for the devoted and loving care provided to her.  Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville has been chosen to serve the Drum family.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
