Rev. Edward F. Adkins

Rev. Edward F. Adkins, 91, of Circleville, died May 9, 2018 at Logan Elm Health Care.  He was born on April 9, 1927 in Midkiff, W. VA, the son of Linsy and Hattie (Tooley) Adkins.  He was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran and a retired minister.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille (Parker) Adkins; sisters, Gloria Baisden and Clara Hardman; brothers, Siebert, Clarence David and Vernon Adkins; son, Roger Dearth and son-in-law, George Dabbs.  He is survived by his children, Sandra (Tom) Tomblin and Timothy (Susan) Adkins; daughter, Rhonda Dabbs: daughter-in-law, Sherry Dearth; brother, Cletis Adkins; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.  Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday May 14, 2018 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.  Burial will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  Friends may call from 12-1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
