Matthew Winnett

Matthew Winnett, 55, of Londonderry passed away on March 18, 2019.  He was born on October 3, 1963 in Logan to James Louis and Mary (Stevens) Winnett.  He was a 1982 Vinton County High Graduate.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Timothy and Douglas Winnett.  Matthew is survived by his children Matthew Jr. and Jessie Winnett, grandchildren Caleb M. and Taylor Winnett, Shelby and Bryan Jr. Hartley, siblings James (Clarissa) Winnett of Londonderry, Joan (Kenneth) Bright of Batesville, MS, Carmela (Joe) Eveland of South Bloomingville, Holly (James) Clary of Londonderry, Leslie (Tonya) Winnett of Londonderry and Shawn Winnett of Londonderry and by numerous nieces and nephews.  A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Lebanon Cemetery.  There will be no calling hours observed.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wellman Funeral Home in Matthew’s name.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
