Matalene (Ebert) Metcalf

Matalene Metcalf, 89, of Circleville passed away on December 5, 2018.  She was born in Pickaway County to Walter and Bessie (Tisdale) Ebert.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Metcalf and by siblings Donald, John and Bob Ebert, Patricia VanFossen and Mary McNeal.  She worked for many years at GE and retired from Pickaway Manor.  Matalene is survived by her sons Richard (Susan) and Mark (Kathy) Metcalf, grandchildren Christopher Metcalf and David (Summer) Parker and by great grandchildren Gracelynn, Ellie, Bailey and Elizabeth.  She was a loving devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Eagles and she loved bingo.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating with burial to follow in Hitler Ludwig Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday  from  2-5 p.m.   Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
