Margaret (Strawser) Downey

Margaret A. Downing, 84, of Circleville passed away on June 4, 2018.  She was born February 1, 1934 in Circleville the daughter of Edward and Minnie (Cooper) Strawser.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Downing, her sons Edward and Donald Downing and her brothers Edward, Richard, James, and Donald Strawser and by her sister Betty Neal.  She is survived by her daughter Penny (John) Leach of Circleville, her granddaughter Mindy Leach, great granddaughters Alexis Leach and Anna Cassidy, step granddaughter Misty Leach, step grandson John Leach Jr., step great granddaughter Kayla Leach and brother John Strawser. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating.  Burial will be at a later date in Floral Hills Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from noon until the time of service at 2.   Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
