Katie Leigh Widmayer, daughter of Dana (Angie) Widmayer and Gwen (Bill) Moore, passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2018 at the age of 31. She was a graduate of Circleville High School (2005) and the Salon Schools Group (2007) and became a licensed cosmetologist. Katie was the mother of three beautiful children, Landen (10), Mya (5) and Taylor (3 months), whom she loved so very much. In addition to her parents and children, Katie is survived by her older sister Allison (David) Regan, younger brother Daniel (Vee) Widmayer; nephews and nieces Benji, Grayson and Hannah; step siblings Stephanie Mills, Amy Stoneking and K.C. Hawkins; paternal grandparents Winnie and Earl Ary; maternal grandparents “Grammy” Dixie and “Pappy” Danny Cook, as well as uncles, aunts, cousins, and many extended family members and friends. Katie chose to be an organ donor and was a match for three people whose lives will be forever blessed by her generosity. Her family is very grateful to Mount Carmel West Hospital and Lifeline of Ohio for the care and dignity extended to her in the last hours of her life. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service this Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Wellman Funeral Home located at 1455 North Court Street in Circleville. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. followed by a brief service at 3:45 p.m. in which those who have a story or fond memory will be given an opportunity to share.
