James Emerson Neff

James Neff, 73, of Adelphi passed away on April 22, 2018.  He was born on July 6, 1944 in Adelphi to Joseph and Ruth Bernadine (Cash) Neff.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Don Neff and Joseph “Duke” Neff Jr.   He loved hunting and fishing and spending time with grandsons.  He was raised by his step mother, Margie Hart.  He is survived by his son James Eric (Erica) Neff, grandchildren Deric and Gatlin, step sisters, Annette (Larry) Street, Barb (Rick) Halley and Joyce Martin, brother Robert (Natalie) Neff, sister Shirley Arledge, special nephew Randy Hedges and by several other nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with burial to follow in Green Summit Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
