Holli (De Cenzo) De Cenzo

Holli De Cenzo, 63, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2018 with her loving wife Jenny Bullen by her side. Holli is also survived by her sister Nikki De Cenzo (Joel), brothers Chris De Cenzo (Suzie) and Matt De Cenzo, brother-in-law Kim Bullen (Judy), nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, many cousins and many life-long friends from Westerville and BalletMet. She was predeceased by her parents Nick and Sally DeCenzo and brother Craig DeCenzo. Holli came from a big Italian family and she was always close to them.  Holli loved nature and shared a home in the country with Jenny in SE Ohio. Holli attended St. Paul Catholic elementary school and graduated from Westerville High School. In high school, she was involved in theater production, working backstage. In 1976 Holli began working for the Columbus Ballet (now known as BalletMet). With BalletMet, Holli worked as the Production/Stage Manager. She was a long-time member of IATSE local 12 Stagehand Union. Holli and Jenny worked at BalletMet and lived together for over 30 years. They watched dancers and the ballet company grow and change and the company became another family for them. Most Christmas holidays were spent working on the Nutcracker. Holli and Jenny also worked on shows for Opera Columbus and on other productions in Columbus. Holli leaves behind a legacy in the theater community in central Ohio.  At Holli’s request there will be no services. Contributions in Holli’s name can be made to BalletMet or to an animal rescue organization of your choice. Please raise a glass of red wine in honor of Holli.
